At Konarc Atelier, we envisioned this office space as a confluence of contemporary design and Indian sensibility. Our material palette and colour choices were carefully curated to reflect a modern aesthetic while subtly honouring traditional roots.
The main wooden door opens into a 4-foot-wide passage that runs the entire length of the office, connecting the entrance to a balcony at the opposite end. This linear axis not only enhances circulation but also creates a striking sense of infinite depth—drawing the eye from one end of the space to the other.
Every area was designed to receive ample natural light, creating a sense of openness and connection to the outdoors. At the same time, we wanted to maintain individual privacy—so we incorporated fluted glass partitions that soften the space without blocking light or transparency.
The office furniture was custom-designed to seamlessly integrate with the overall interior palette. In the boss’s cabin, the focal point is a 10-foot-long table crafted from a single slab of Swiss white marble—elegant in presence and minimal in detail. It features an inbuilt switchboard and mood-adjustable lighting, allowing the ambiance to shift in tune with the user's preference.
Adjacent to the cabin is a cozy lounge area, where a deep green sofa adds a vibrant contrast to the otherwise warm tones of browns and whites—introducing a touch of boldness while maintaining balance within the space.
